WELCOME TO DOC LOUNGE VOLDA´S TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

On Monday, October 31st, we celebrate Doc Lounge Volda's two year anniversary and the Doc Lounge concept's 10 year anniversary.

We will celebrate with cake, ballons and the awardwinning documentary Don Juan by Jerzy Sladkowski. 

Don Juan is about twenty-two-year-old Oleg, who lives with his mother in Nizjnij Novgorod, Russia. Oleg has autism, which his mother has a hard time accepting. He doesn’t live up to his mother’s idea of a real man. She wants him to improve his life and subjects him to a series of unconventional treatments. Strangely enough the camera seems to be welcome everywhere, and it closely follows these dramatic developments. 

Don Juan won the price for Best Nordic Documentary at Nordisk Panorama festival and the price for Best Feature-Length Documentary at IDFA 2015.

Doors open at 19.30. Cake is served at 20.00 and the film starts shortly thereafter. See you :)
