Joshua Oppenheimer's previous work, The Act of Killing, is one of the most praised documentary movies of recent times. The Look of silence is a continuation on the same themes. Produced by two of the biggest names in documentary movies, Errol Morris and Werner Herzog, The Look of Silence is a powerful movie on the indonesian genocide of 1965. The film examines the effects of such atrocities through generations by following Adi, a young optist, who through his work, meets some of the people who killed his brother.
The screening takes place at Tuba at 19:00. Deejays Tiskijukkapekka and J-Honey spin vinyl before and after the movie.
