Screening of Very Semi-Serious, a comics jam and Dj Illyana

For the opening screening of the 2016 spring season we have Leah Wolchek's Very Semi-Serious. The documentary follows the comics editor of the New Yorker as he goes through hundreds of submissions for the New Yorker's legendary one-panel comics. During the film we also meet a variety of interesting charecters that go through the process of trying to get their comics through.

After the movie Oulu Comic's Center will organize a comics jam with Dj Illyana providing the music for the happening.
