Blood Sisters

Blood Sisters is a coming-of-age film of sister-symbiosis and girlhood. A film about the uncoditional love between Julia and Johanna, twin sisters from the highrise flats in the suburb Rosengard, Malmö, Sweden. They have been inseparable for as long as they can remember, curled up beside each other at night, carrying shared memories of trauma from their home country Azerbaijan. One day, life takes over and their symbiosis has to grow into something new... We follow their journey from girls to young women trying to find their own feet through the inevitable circle of life.
