Drömmarna på taket
Ivan Loftrup-Ericson, 57 min, Sweden. On May 17th, 1969, a building marked for demolition in Lund, Sweden, is occupied by a group of young activists. They want a house for all generations, where every decision is made without interference from the authorities. Over the course of five months, three seperate houses are occupied, but ultimately the struggle fails. A year later, the activist movement ceases to exist. Some of the members go off to chase their own dreams, for others the struggle turns destructive.
In Ivan Loftrup-Ericson's film Drömmarna på taket we get to meet the activists, who are all still deeply affected by the events of 1969, 40 years later.
