Michal Marczak, 90 min, Poland.In Fuck For Forest, we follow the German NGO of the same name in their fight to save the rain forests of the world. By selling amateur porn, the NGO raises capital for investing in local, sustainable environmental initiatives as they travel through South America. The documentary offers insight into the members’ personal motives and dreams, but it also displays the challenges that the NGO are facing on its path to realizing its ideals.
Fuck For Forest offers a different take on how to adress the environmental issues of the world. In connection with the additional two presentations, the documentary gives an example of what sustainable activism can be.
