Andreas Brink, 58 min, Sweden.

The first guitar factory in Sweden was founded in 1900, but in an two room apartment by Herman Carlson Levin. Quickly he gets famous for his high quality guitars, which he had learned to build in America. The son of a farmer continues to build guitars and three generationers later the Levin family has a successful company, which exports Levin guitars from Gothenborg to guitar players all over the world. Levin guitars is used by Nick Drake, Django Reinhardt and many other international artists.

The film shows us the ups and downs the company has experienced, but also includes interviews with guitar enthusiasts and collectors. New interviews and concerts are mixed with arcive material.
