The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters

King of Kong tells the tale about the battle between two fanatical video gamers that are trying to beat the world record in the classic arcade game Donkey Kong. On one side of the screen we meet the current champion, Billy Mitchell, and on the other Steve Wiebe - a quiet, middle school teacher whose skills at Donkey Kong were discovered when he started to play as comfort after having been fired from his old job.

As the rivalry between the two men grows, the pressure on Twin Galaxies - the organization which keeps track of records in arcade games since the 80s - to find a winner grows with it. You might not have understood just how dedicated these players can be before you realize that to set a world record, you might have to play more than 24 hours straight...
