The drug free subculture and music movement Straight Edge has existed for over 30 years. Even if it has had its ups and downs Straight Edge permeates everyday-life for youths and adults world wide. The culture is based upon commitment, friendship and an amazing belief in the force of being able to effect the surrounding and the society in a positive way. It's a drug- and alcohol free uprising against the norms and values of society. The movement is also involved with animal rights issues. 
In this film we accompany Swedish girls and boys that have chosen a life without drugs for the benefit of music and a meaningful spare time. In the film they share their thoughts and explain the choices they have made and how they live their lives.
