All We Have is Now touring Doc Lounges
We originally screened punk documentary All We Have is Now together with Nordisk Panorama in Malmö last year, and now it is coming to three more cities in the Doc Lounge network with screenings in Stockholm, Volda and Aarhus. Yesterday at Doc Lounge Volda, the film was accompanied by live music performed by Tyngdekraft, Isabel Haugjord, Inga Bjørndal and Sissel Marie Frøyland. On March 19, Doc Lounge Aarhus will present the film together with a talk with Christian Søgaard Hersker, leader of the theatre GelderaK and music manager, about the tensions between stage craft and music and how to make yourself a hit.
All We Have is Now is directed by Alexandra Dahlström, who has a special place in our hearts after her legendary role in Swedish cult classic Fucking Åmål (Show Me Love). In the film we meet the punk group Volcano, ready to take over the world. The band consists of former Those Dancing Days members Cecilia Efraimsson, Lisa Pyk Wirström and Rebecka Rolfart. The film follows them as they tour Stockholm, London and Los Angeles capturing them during big and small moments, from wild concert nights to quieter times at home. We follow the girls as they transition from TV friendly pop group to high energy punk band ... and share all the disruption and joy that this brings.
