Doc Lounge celebrate expansion in northern Sweden with Pervert Park tour
During the course of next week, starting on October 26 in Östersund, Sweden, Doc Lounge and award-winning documentary Pervert Park will go on tour in northern Sweden. Directors Frida and Lasse Barkfors (pictured above), and Annika Lundgårdh from HOPP, the national organization against sexual abuse, will tour together with the film - discussing the film itself, its themes and answer questions from the audience.
The tour will go from Östersund to Åre, Sundsvall and Stockholm. It’s done in collaboration with, and with support from, the Culture Foundation of the Swedish Postcode Lottery. Over the last 19 months, Doc Lounge have worked together with the Culture Foundation to spread the Doc Lounge concept to northern Sweden and the tour will be the final celebration of that work. The screenings are also done in collaboration with the Swedish public broadcasting company SVT, that’s also showing the film on TV on November 9.

Wednesday, October 28 - Special Doc Lounge screening in Åre
Thursday, October 29 - Doc Lounge Sundsvall
Sunday, November 1 - Doc Lounge Stockholm
While not officially a part of the tour of northern Sweden, you can also see Pervert Park at Doc Lounge Lund on October 27. It's previously been screened at Doc Lounge Göteborg and Doc Lounge Malmö (where it also was a part of the livestreaming project Doc Lounge Live (6 cities)).
