Doc Lounge Live: A Good American Swedish Premiere with Director Q&A Live Stream!
Doc Lounge Live is a unique live broadcast concept developed by Doc Lounge. We give cinemas, cultural centers and libraries the chance to take part in interactive live event broadcasts accompanying screenings of the best new documentaries. After a regional release in the fall of 2015, we launched the concept across Sweden with Becoming Zlatan earlier this year and will follow up on the 12th April with the Swedish premiere of A Good American and live streamed interactive Q&A with the film's director Freidrich Moser. A Good American is a thrilling docu-thriller about the genius code breaker Bill Binney and Thin Thread, a monitoring program that could have prevented 11 September 2001.
The film and the live streamed Q&A will be made available to venues across Sweden, from cultural centers, to cinemas, and libraries, from Doc Lounge in Malmö where we will host a very special event to launch this fascinating film. Regardless of where the audience is in the country, they will be able to ask questions via SMS and social media and take part in the live discussion with Moser after the film.
The film will also be screened at Doc Lounge in Helsinki, Oulu, Turku, Odense and Aarhus in April and May. Stay tuned for more info.
A Good American is brought to Doc Lounge as part of the Moving Docs initative, a collaboration with 7 European screening partners and the European Documentary Network (EDN) to spread high quality European documentaries.
Doc Lounge Live is developed in cooperation with DIGISCEN® and the live stream is produced by Strobemedia.
