For Somebody Else world premiere at Göteborg Film Festival
Doc Lounge are proud Swedish distributors of the new documentary For Somebody Else, directed by Sven Blume and produced by WG Film. For Somebody Else will have its world premiere in competition at Göteborg Film Festival this weekend and will be further distributed across Sweden during fall 2020.
Surrogacy is illegal in Sweden, but in several places in the US the phenomenon is a growing industry. Director Sven Blume follows three women in California who has decided to become surrogate mothers, all three with their own individual resaons. The journey that follows turns into an intimate and highly thought provoking film.
