Georgian focus with The Dazzling Light of Sunset

This spring, the Official Selection documentary The Dazzling Light of Sunset brings a Georgian focus around the Doc Lounge network. The film tells the story about life in the Georgian town of Tsalenjikha, pictured through a small local TV station, and has been shown at several festivals the past year.

Doc Lounge Stockholm screened the film a couple of weeks ago and created asupra (dinner party), a whole evening of Georgian food, drinks and culture. Check out the fabulous images from the event here.

Doc Lounge Malmö screened the film yesterday with special guest Helena Tomasson, there to teach the audience about Georgian culture. Helena is an author and travel guide who worked in Georgia for many years. The event also featured a Georgian foodtasting and a mini concert by Swedish/Georgian artist Sabina Chantouria. Pictures here!

The Dazzling Light of Sunset will also be shown in Oulu on April 20.
