Let the festival year begin- Doc Lounge attends Göteborg Film Festival
Doc Lounge Directors Maja Lindquist and Andrea Arvidssons will attend Göteborg Film Festival between 28th-31st of January. Main focus will be to scout for new exiting films and get an update from the industry through seminars and talks. And networking of course! Please get in touch if you want to meet up.
GIFF started in 1979 and has since drawn in thousands of moviegoers to Göteborg each year. In 2016 the festival had around 130,000 visits who were offered 450 films (1031 screenings) from 84 countries. But the festival is not just about film. Around 40 seminars as well as music, art, Nordic Film Market and many other activities surrounding the core of films attracted 21 128 visitors during the 39th festival.
