Moving Docs films for Autumn 2017
Doc Lounge is a proud co-partner in the Moving Docs project, a EDN innitiative and platform for documentary screening and promotion, which enables a selection of European documentaries to cross borders and reach new audiences all over Europe.
For autumn of 2017, we are partnering with Moving Docs on three films in the Doc Lounge Official Selection: Free Lunch Society, Dolphin Man and Bobbi Jene. For Dolphin Man and Free Lunch Society, we will work together with Moving Docs on pan european campaigns including competitions, special events and exclusive content related to the films.
Dolphin Man tells the story and legacy of the greatest free-diver in recorded history, whose life became the inspiration for Luc Besson’s cult-movie “Le Grand Bleu”. With the film comes exclusive VR films and a social media competition, where the price is a unique diving experience in Greece..! Additionally, Dolphin Man screens in the project Doc Lounge Live October 17.
Free Lunch Society asks what you would do if your income were taken care of? The film deals with the model of unconditional basic income and how this could be applied to modern societies (which might not be so far away!). Additionally, Moving Docs created an animation and teaser clips that will communicate the definition of a universal basic income.
