Moving Docs meeting and workshop in Athens

Doc Lounge is now into its third year as a partner of Moving Docs, a unique partnership project founded for the joint distribution of documentaries across Europe. This week, Doc Lounge co-directors Andrea Arvidsson and Maja Lindquist spent a few days in Athens, Greece to take part in a joint meeting and workshop with other Moving Docs partners from all over Europe. 

The meeting included a workshop for co-creating of paneuropean outreach and impact strategies for the elected Moving Docs films for fall 2017. Participants was also served with inspirational talks and support from experts in the field such as Ziad Ramley from Al Jazeera English, Caty Borum Chattoo, Co-Director of the Center for Media & Social Impact (CMSI), Kay Meseberg, head of VR/360 at ARTE and Ben Kempas from Film & Campaign.

The films that Doc Lounge will distribute through Moving Docs for fall 2017 will be released in June.
