New Acting Network Manager
Last year was a great year for Doc Lounge with more screenings and audience than ever. Now we are looking forward to a new bright year with great films, interesting meetings, blooming inspiration and new challenges. We are very happy to start the year welcoming Maja Lindquist, former Swedish coordinator, to her new role as Acting Network Manager. Maja will be responsible for the Network operations while Network Manager Katharine Simpson is on maternity leave.
Maja Lindquist has been working at Doc Lounge since the start 2006, as project manager for Doc Lounge in Lund and now recently as the Swedish coordinator. Maja has previously worked for the European network for independent cultural houses Trans Europe Halles and for the Swedish art house cinema Folkets Bio.
Project Manager for Doc Lounge Malmö, Andrea Arvidsson, is also taking over the role as Project Manager for the Network project Doc Lounge Special Access from 1st of January. Happy 2014!
