New exchange project with the Caucasus region!
We are happy to announce that we have been granted financing from the Creative Force program, Swedish Institute for Doc Lounge Caucasus - a unique two-year exchange project between the Nordic countries and the Caucacus region! The project is a collaboration between Doc Lounge, Noosfera Foundation and documentary film festivals CinéDOC-Tbilisi, DokuBaku International Documentary Film Festival and Apricot Tree Documentary Film Festival and is a continuation and expansion of the pilot project carried out in 2017.
The project will include an extensive training programme with interactive training workshops in audience engagement and outreach, as well as exchange through study visits and internships.
We can't wait to get started! Already next week Doc Lounge director Maja Lindquist is travelling to Tbilisi, Georgia to kick off this project with a 4 day workshop for regional film coordinators and representatives from Armenien och Azerbajdan during CinéDOC-Tbilisi.
