Prison tour with screenings of MonaLisa Story
We are proud to announce that Doc Lounge will collaborate with documentary filmmaker Jessica Nettelbladt and Swedish prison service in arranging a prison tour with film screenings during 2017. The aim of the tour is to create cultural space and meeting points for the inmates, while exploring the role of culture and the documentary genre in Swedish womens prisons.
We will visit six womens prisons and screen Jessica Nettelbladts MonaLisa Story and host discussions as well as other side events. The tour will also be accompanied by a digital platform, in which the inmates will have the opportunity to share their stories with each other and the world.
