Swedish distribution and impact campaign for EXIT - Leaving Extremism Behind
Exit: Leaving Extremism Behind is a Norwegian documentary by Karen Winther giving a unique insight into violent extremism Through intimate conversations with former extremists from Germany, France, Denmark and US they reveal the moment in their life that made them alter the course of their lives. In March 2019, the film will be released in Sweden, distributed by Doc Lounge. It will show at Tempo Dokumentärfestival, followed by a Swedish tour around Doc Lounge clubs across the country. As a part of our work with EXIT, an impact campaign will be launched in collaboration with Fryshuset, where we will use the film as a tool for spreading knowledge about violent extremism and how to help society and individuals handle and help those who want to leave extremism befind. The campaign will be based ontailor-made film screenings accompanied by workshops and talks.
The following Doc Lounge clubs will show Exit: Leaving Extremism Behind with special guest Maria Bolme from Fryshuset, who will share their experience in the work with people who have left violent extremist groups.
