We're off to Visions du Réel in Nyon!
Film festival Visions du Réel, in Nyon, Switzerland, kicked off last week and will be running until April 25. It's the biggest film festival in Switzerland, screening almost 200 films - many of them premieres - and of course Doc Lounge will be there as well! Laura Marie Klindt Nielsen from Doc Lounge Aarhus will be on the scene, where she'll take part in the Doc Outlook-International Market (DOCM).
During the DOCM, there will - of course - be a ton of new documentaries screened, but also pitching sessions, a showcase of in-progress documentaries for TV buyers and producers, roundtables, and networking opportunities. "I'll represent Doc Lounge at Meet the Guests", Laura told us, "a part of the program where representatives from various cinemas come to talk about alternative ways to show documentary films. I'll be talking about the Doc Lounge concept and how we pick our films. It's going to be a lot of fun!"
