Doc Lounge at Nordisk Panorama 2014

The time of the year has come again where we get to play with some of our favourite partners in our very own home city.

Nordisk Panorama, the Nordic Short & Docs film festival, brings the best of the year's nordic film and, along with it, the region's industry players, to Malmö for 6 days of screenings, seminars, market, forum pitching and parties from 19 - 24 September.

We'll be kicking off the party with a special Doc Lounge for the festival's local audience on Tuesday 16 September and a screening of the controversial and acclaimed Concerning Violence (Tuesday 16 September, Babel, 19:00)

On Saturday 20th, there's a fresh initiative for our youngest audiences,  a special family Film and Media workshop (Saturday 20 September,  Barnens Scen, 13:00) starting with the compelling film of friendship and bravery Pull Through. Book tickets here! On Monday 22nd we will throw a stormer of a Doc Lounge with the  fantastic film  All We Have is Now (dir. Alexandra Dahlström) about the punk band Vulkano along with a live performance and party at Doc Lounge Malmö's home, Babel. (Monday 22 September, Babel, 19:00). After all the parties we take a quieter look with a new 'work in progress' format  - Still Life, an installation of the ongoing work going in to Karin Ekberg's (A Separation 2014) new film.  This multi-art form presentation of a family's hopes and loss will be available to explore all day at Inkonst on Tuesday 23rd.

Alongside the public events, Doc Lounge will hold it's annual meeting of the Doc Lounge Network's film club managers from Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden to discuss our plans for the year to come.

If you would like to meet with one of the team during the festival we'd love to hear from you.
